Her Excellency Mariam H. Mwinyi, First Lady of Zanzibar, Patron and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation (ZMBF), today welcomed Her Excellency Jane Ittogi Shanmugaratnam, First Lady of Singapore, to the ZMBF offices in Zanzibar.
H.E. Mariam H. Mwinyi was accompanied by the Minister of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar, Hon. Lela Muhamed Mussa, together with members of the Board of Trustees and ZMBF leadership.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and gain insight into the work being carried out by ZMBF in the areas of women and youth empowerment, health, education, community development, and the Blue Economy.
To date, the Foundation’s programs have reached more than 250,000 beneficiaries across Zanzibar, contributing to improved livelihoods and fostering inclusive community development.
