On the occasion of Seaweed Day celebrated today in Zanzibar, the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Honorable Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, presented a distinguished award to Honorable Mama Mariam Mwinyi, the First Lady and Chairperson of the Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation, who also serves as the National Seaweed Guardian.
